The pandemic lockdowns of 2020 were tough on everyone’s mental health—but they hit older adults especially hard. Many of them were confounded by the complexity of modern electronics and struggled to maintain much-needed connections with friends, family, and doctors. And when Jordan Schley saw his own grandfather face these problems, he came up with a solution: Care2Talk.
With its simplified interfaces, Care2Talk was designed to provide seniors with easy, consistent access to high-quality telehealth services. Care2Talk has since expanded its offerings to families as well as employers. With a dedicated team of 15 people, Jordan decided to turn to outsourcing to get the word out.
Delegating Demos
Care2Talk recruited five virtual SDRs to help bring in more leads. These assistants worked with the startup’s Hubspot CRM, reaching out to potential clients through cold calls, and offering them service demonstrations.
With the additional help, Care2Talk’s team managed to move more leads down the sales funnel without compromising their time and focus.
“[Our virtual assistants are] super helpful… [We plan to] triple our sales force.”
Rapid Growth
Jordan has found his remote SDRs to be a strong asset overall, providing valuable support in tackling most issues related to their role. With the growth they’ve seen in lead conversions since they began, the startup aims to scale up rapidly—as much as tripling their sales force in the near future.
And for other companies looking to expand their capacity, Jordan highly recommends hiring a team of virtual assistants.
